* The test for the pop off valve is to ensure the plunger moves freely and is not stuck shut or hard to move.
** Once the tanker is 10 years old, perform an inspection annually by a 3rd party. Pressurize until the valve pops or you reach 16–17 PSI, test/change the gauge, then re-pressurize. If the valve still does not pop, replace it.
